Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra, which incorporates four Arm Cortex-A715 performance cores and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores in its configuration. This is further enabled to reach clock speeds of as high as 3.35GHz for the most power-consuming tasks, thus keeping the phone efficient when working on lighter workloads. In benchmark tests like AnTuTu v10, it scores an impressive 1,465,265 points, placing it among the top performers in its category and close to flagship-level devices like those with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors.
Compared to its predecessor, Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro, this X6 Pro has a massive improvement in processing and generally in performance. Whereas the chipset used on the X5 Pro was not that capable, improvements on this new model will surely make it more appealing, especially for gamers and power users who need high performance for multitasking or resource-intensive applications. Moreover, WildBoost Optimisation 2.0 further elevates the gaming experience by ensuring system resources are optimized to guarantee seamless gameplay.
Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro display would be one of the key highlights. It boasts of a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 1,220 x 2,712 pixel resolution. The display supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, enabling colors to pop with great contrast, thus making consumption great. Outdoor visibility has also been good even under direct sunlight with a peak brightness of 1,800 nits.
The 120Hz refresh rate on this display makes for reasonably smooth scrolling and responsiveness in both gaming and general usage. Speaking of the price, comparable to the Redmi Note series or other mid-end competitors, Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro display still wins in color accuracy and brightness. Users can expect decent visuals whether watching movies or playing games.
The rear camera on Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro includes a 64MP primary sensor, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2MP macro lens. The primary sensor does a great job in well-lit conditions, taking decent photos with punchy colors. However, at times, the color tends to be oversaturated post-processing. It struggles in low-light conditions when compared to some more expensive phones but takes decent shots that will work fine on social media.

Against similar models, such as Xiaomi Poco X5 Pro, which came out before the release of this review material but featured the same basic camera spec, albeit with considerably raw image processing algorithms, it will show improved dynamic range and detail retention in disparate lighting conditions. This having been said, whereas the main camera does really excel, secondary cameras are underperforming in regards to ultra-wide-angle shots and macro shots.
Equipped with a robust 5,000mAh battery, Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro promises excellent battery life that can easily last through a full day of heavy usage. Users can expect around seven hours of screen-on time under typical usage scenarios involving gaming and media consumption. The device supports fast charging at 67W, allowing it to reach full charge from zero in about 45 minutes—an impressive feat for any smartphone in this price bracket.
The design of Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro strikes a balance between aesthetic and functional features. It has a sleek body with minimal bezels around its display. The back panel comes in a variety of attractive colors, fingerprint-resistant-refreshingly different from so many of the glossy finishes found on competing devices. While it doesn’t sport some of the more premium materials that are featured in higher-end models-Gorilla Glass Victus, for instance-it does offer good durability with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
All said and done, Xiaomi Poco X6 Pro is indeed an appealing prospect for anyone on a lookout for flagship-class performance out of a mid-ranger. Powerful chipset results in smooth performance across board and screen coupled with excellent display and strong battery backup-only makes it a real warrior among the competition. As always, potential customers must also consider the pros with some disadvantages before a purchase.
