Review

The HTC U24 Pro features a stunning 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. The colors are bright, blacks are rich and viewing angles can compete with the best, so if you're after a solid multimedia consumption device, this is as close to the perfect display solution as we've seen. It features a glass back and an aluminum frame, and overall a very minimalistic design of a device, which also makes the device feel very premium. There is a fingerprint directly underneath the display to keep the sleek design but keep it secure.

In terms of hardware, HTC U24 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 12 GB of RAM. This ensures a smooth experience whilst multitasking, gaming, or running intensive applications. With 256GB of internal storage and a microSD card supporting, it had everything you could want.

HTC U24 Pro has a great camera setup too. On the rear, it features a quad-camera setup that includes a 108MP primary sensor, 16MP ultra-wide lens, 8MP telephoto lens, and a 5MP macro lens. At this range, you can experiment with different shooting options even in tricky light. The 32MP front camera also takes impressive selfies and handles video calls well. The camera gets 8K video recording and AI scene detection and a night mode.

HTC U24 Pro is equipped with 5000mAh battery, which is enough and adequate for a complete day's use on a single charge, and you don’t need to worry about lacking electricity in your phone without taking a power bank. It carries 65W live CD charging support for charging the device at fiery fast speed. The device also has the upgrade in comfort of wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

On the software side, it runs Android 13 with HTC skin on top. You also get clean, no bloat and intuitive software, near stock Android. The HTC U24 Pro also has 5G connectivity so that you can have access to ultra-fast internet and future-proof the phone. Of course, you also get NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating.

HTC has a long history of good audio quality, and the U24 Pro is no exception. It sports Hi-Res Audio-certified stereo speakers that produce loud, balanced stereo sound. And it even has a 3.5mm headphone jack —a rare find on today's smartphones —for your wired headphones — if you’re an audiophile, you know what I mean.

In conclusion, HTC U24 Pro has a very general smartphone signature with some specifications above the average levels — design, performance and camera. Combined with that blistering battery life, rapid charging, and high-end build quality, it emerges as one of the strongest players in the higher strata of smartphone. Whether you’re a tech head, a camera lover, or you appreciate a device that just does what it’s meant to do, the HTC U24 Pro has a lot going for it. It's what sets the bar of a modern smartphone to be with innovation mixed with practicality.
